Welcome to the home of HUFFLEHOGS (HUF)

I am also a small, registered hobby breeder of African Pygmy Hedgehogs. These delightful creatures make fabulous pets and are incredibly affectionate. All of my hogs are registered with the UK African Pygmy Hedgehog registered (UKAPH Registered).

(site currently under construction so please bare with us!)

 *Babies available for reservation now*

All of the photos on this site are of my own hedgehogs, please ask for permission if you wish to use them.

They love running for miles in their excercise wheels and playing with their toys. They are extremely friendly and all come out regularly for kisses and cuddles - they have to get used to all sorts at this house! I was thoroughly suprised with how fantastic they are as pets - they are really cuddly, interactive and are not at all uncomfortable to handle if they have been handled from young, which all of mine are.

Meet my hogs:

Rosie (chocolate female) - Rosie was my first ever pet african pygmy hedgehog and I soon became addicted! She loves nothing more than kisses and cuddles and is one greedy hog!

Herburt - (Brown male)

Spike - (Cinnamon male)  Spike is my fabulous cinnamon male. He was one of my first babies that I bred and his parents are Eclaire and Herburt. We fell in love with his character as a baby and he is an unusual colour. The photo on the right was taken at 8 weeks old when he went to visit the animal management students at college! He behaved brilliantly and was a definate hit with everyone!

Spike then went to the UKAPH show at Todwick on the 26th February 2011 and was entered into his first show. He was placed as 2nd best Male with a score of 97/100.

He was up against 21 other hogs and did so, so well - we're all extremely proud of him!
